What’s the News?
The Heritage Edition trim and the Ford Rattler are being debuted in 2023 and are here to freshen up the F-150. Since it is the F-150’s 75th anniversary, the Heritage Edition is exploding onto the scene to make a splash to showcase the anniversary. First off, it will come with a “75 Years” logo that will be displayed in white across the center console, upper center windshield and the center screen start. Secondly, it gives a nod to the 1970’s and 1980’s with its two-tone exterior paint colors that will additionally mash up with its modern design. Ford’s other offering, the new Rattler trim, is based off of the XL series. This bad boy comes equipped with four wheel drive featuring skid plates, hill descent control and exceptional off-road features. If you are looking for a great truck that can navigate rugged terrain, the Rattler will be your perfect match. There are off road shock absorbers, enhanced traction and all-terrain 18” tires that can take you through whatever adventure you are embarking on. Complete with a dual exhaust system and rattlesnake-inspired graphics and fender vents, this trim takes it to the next level. There is also a great selection of colors offered for the Rattler such as Oxford White, Avalanche, Iconic Silver and more! As for the other colors that will be in for the 2023 year for the F-150 model, you can expect to see: Area 51, Hot Pepper Red, Azure Gray, and Avalanche available. Although there will be a couple of colors being discontinued from 2022 such as the Smoked Quartz and Space White.
Is one year better than the other?
The new 2023 Ford F-150 isn’t seeing quite so many changes as one might expect due to the overhaul redesign back in 2021. There hasn’t been any huge change since that year but instead the 2023 F-150 delivers more of the same reliability, high towing capabilities and large workload pull that consumers have come to expect from a Ford. Yet this year does have a couple of change ups in the way of new trims being offered and few tweaks on continuous trims. With talk of possibility of some technological features being upgraded later on this year, but no concrete evidence for sure of that, it looks as if the 2023 F-150 is only offering the new trim features. The Rattler is making a splash for this year and definitely is made for the adventure seeker out there.
Summary
The new 2023 Ford F-150 is out there and ready to be explored! With only minor changes made in the way of the standard package, it is very closely tied with the 2022 F-150. Yet this year with the new trim models to explore, one cannot disregard that the 2023 Ford F-150 is stepping up its game some.
