The Transit gives you so many options that it’s almost overwhelming to configure. First of all, you can choose between three roof heights (low, medium, high) for your commercial van. Then there are three van lengths (regular, long, and extra long). Two wheelbase lengths (standard and extended) also help you create extra interior space.
Next, you can choose from three kinds of Transit. The Transit is available as a Cargo Van, Crew Van, Passenger Van XL, and Passenger Van XLT. Like the name suggests, the Cargo Van emphasizes cargo space. The Crew Van has space for a crew of five, with a roomy cargo hold behind the rear seats. The Passenger Van is available as two trim models, the XL and XLT. The XL offers a lower price on a modern people hauler, seating up to 15 passengers, depending on body style. The XLT adds extra creature comforts, like a standard infotainment system with a 12-inch touchscreen and full-length cabin carpeting.
